First I will start by introducing myself: my name is Roxy.

I am Melissa’s lil black chihuahua. I say ‘Melissa’ so that you understand who I’m talking about, but from here on out I will be calling her ‘Mom’ since that’s what I know her by. I came to live with Mom last June and let me tell you, it is quite an active life she has. It seems like we are always going to new places and meeting all kinds of people. So I thought maybe I would start sharing some of that with you guys out there.

We travel on a bus with lots of other people. It’s mostly cool, but sometimes I get a lil scared that they might sit or step on me because I’m so much smaller than them… but so far no problems! My favorite people on the bus are my mom of course, my aunt Tricia, and my best friend Sophie. Sophie is Aunt Tricia’s dog and we are best buds. We do everything together.

Today we were in a place called Kalispell, Montana. It is so pretty here! All around us are beautiful mountains. We took a hike today down one of them. The new drummer in Mom’s band Superchick came with us.

I like him most of the time. I mostly like to bark at him just to remind him who is boss. Boy was it a long walk all through the trees. I think Mom got a little irritated because I like to pull on the leash a lot…heehee. We saw some deer that I barked at and took some pictures. It was to much fun. I even stood up on a ledge and pretended to be a panther. I could take one on… don’t be surprised by my size! I have quite a scary bark when needed, especially if it’s to protect my mom.

Mom has a show tonight here in Kalispell. I will tell you about it later, but for now I’m gonna nap because that walk made me so sleepy. Bark at you later…
