“Hero” featured on NBC’s ‘Green is Universal’ campaign
Superchick’s hit song “Hero” is currently being used for NBC Universal’s “Green Is Universal” campaign. The PSA can be heard on the network, which includes NBC, MSNBC, Bravo and CNBC, as well as in National CineMedia theatre lobbies nationwide through Nov. 23.
This marks the third time NBC Universal has tapped Superchick’s song for its “Green Is Universal’ campaign. which represents the company’s “commitment to bring an environmental perspective to our networks, our platforms, our audiences, our communities… in fact everything we do,” according to the campaign’s web site. The campaign was originally launched last November when “Hero” was featured in the PSA that announced NBC Universal’s more than 150 hours of environmentally themed content that encompassed all of the company’s divisions across multiple platforms.
